Narrative Threads is an exhibition by textile artist Ruth Singer. It explores emotions, histories, stories and memories explored through textiles. Ruth's inspirations range from her own personal and family history to the lives of Victorian criminals. Ruth works mainly with old cloth and embroidery, alongside traditional techniques of quilting and appliqué, as well as digital print and mixed media. Ruth has been supported by Arts Council England.
