'Manipulator' is a film about Helen Foot and was made on Sunday 17th July 2011. She's a textile designer who specialises in weaving and embroidery. Her playful style has been described as 'REBELLIOUS NOSTALGIA'. Helen graduated from the Royal College of Art with a Masters in woven textiles in 2010. She set up her own business Helen Foot Design in 2010 and was part of the Crafts Council Hot House Scheme in 2011.

This film was screened as part of the Crafts

Council England's hugley popular 'Power of Making' Exhibition which the V&A Museum put on between September

2011 and January 2012. This video was one of 40 that were selected to be screened in the exhibition.

The film has also been shown at; 'Made By Hand' craft show in South Wales in December 2011, Collaborate Exhibition in Shrewsbury December 2011 and as part of 'Plot 9' one of the Allotment Plots

at MAC Birmingham between April to September 2012.
