Author Pauline Fisk organised a Flash Fiction event at The Shrewsbury Coffeehouse on Tuesday 15th May which launched National Flash Fiction Day on Wednesday 16th May. She commissioned us to make a film about the event to be completed and ready to view on the day.
The name Flash Fiction is believed to have been first coined back in 1992 as the title to an anthology of very short stories, and the name has stuck. The event included people reading out their stories and writing collaborative stories during the event.
We captured Images and sound between 8 & 11pm and worked through the night to share on the National Flash Fiction Website the following day.
The film took 14 hours to complete.
